What seems difficult to come true, nevertheless. The most visited cities in Switzerland will be more beautiful. Lucerne and Zurich are very nice cities, but Bern is exceptional. In the Swiss capital of 130 000 people live, therefore manageable, the inner city. By narrow streets and pedestrian zones between old buildings all venues are within easy reach.
The cathedral boasts charm and size. In the Federal Court, next to the Swiss National Bank extends the Houses of Parliament. Behind the Houses of Parliament from the terraces, we had a wonderful view over Bern. On the horizon, like a photo montage unreal rise in the mountains. Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains stretch their 4,000-meter peak in the clouds. We were incredibly lucky with the weather. In brilliant sunshine and pleasant temperatures we strolled through the city.
After the pedestrian zone in the city, which is a UNESCO world cultural heritage, we have crossed the Nydeggbrücke and thus the Aare. From there, the eye is immediately to the bear pit. It is part of the bear park in Bern. In honor of the heraldic animal of the capital and throughout the canton, a large park was built for the bears. The park is home to the moment Parents and their children Finn and Bjork Berna and Ursina. The little bears are a real crowd puller and so admire and ogle some days thousands of the bear family.
After a wonderful day with Layla, a Swiss fellow student, Jens, Sindy and Larissa, we are in the dark back went to Winterthur. Life as it should be.
