Complete wacky young artists rock the industrial ruins of Winterthur. It can be a novice in Winterthur believe, but the city is known as the former industrial town in Switzerland. A bit of pot in Switzerland also. In Winti, as the natives call the city many times, it gave up in the eighties was a thriving industrial machinery. Companies such as Sulzer and Rieter sells its products all over the world. Where once dirty industrial metal workers have turned and are now filed cultural centers. In one of these old machine shops coming young artists presented their work last weekend. Young Art ( http://www.jungkunst.ch/ ) is called the regularly scheduled event.
With splendid sunshine and very pleasant temperatures to remove one small tour of the city has done well. After a short walk through the city we are hurled to the exhibition.
The works would not be more different can be. Photographs, photo montages, drawings, paintings, sculptures and much more, whose correct name is not in my area of expertise. Otherwise, my personal highlight of the "smoking room" was. In a small room in the hall, was allowed to smoke. The furniture consisted entirely of old shopping cart. The cars are flexed to sit, have been filed down and edited. Was able like a bumper car, smoking, rolled through the room and bumped. The disco ball on the ceiling of the little room has missed the smoker cell even be more variable mood. Such events needs of the student and the student needs it intended to ...
